Your name, email address, approximate area (for example “West Bridgford”), the items you list, the photos you upload, the Circles you join, your points balance and your swap history. We do not ask for or store your home address, your phone contacts, or the contents of any WhatsApp conversation.
We only ever store an approximate area and show approximate distances. Exact addresses are never collected or displayed.
Items you list are visible to members of the Circles you choose, and to anyone who opens a Circle invitation link if that Circle allows browsing before joining. Your profile shows only your display name, approximate area, points and number of completed swaps.
Photos you upload are stored in private cloud storage and served through short-lived signed links. They are used only to show the item you listed.
WeSwap is for parents and carers. Accounts are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information about or from children.
You can request deletion of your account and content at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile, listings, saved items and Circle memberships.
